George has just received a nomination in the ‘Recording Engineer of The Year’ category at Canada’s 2023 Juno Awards, for his work with global pop star, Shawn Mendes and lo-fi pop sensation keshi. The Juno Awards are Canada’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards, as the only peer-recognized music awards, and are the music industry’s highest honour.
“It’s a very special moment for me as, along with being nominated in a craft category that celebrates the engineering and mixing role specifically, and is voted amongst my peers and colleagues, I’m also included with such an amazing group of Nominees whose work I admire”, says George.
