GEORGE SEARA IS NOMINATED IN THE ‘RECORDING ENGINEER OF THE YEAR’ CATEGORY AT CANADA’S 2024 JUNO AWARDS

George has just received a nomination in the ‘Recording Engineer of The Year’ category at Canada’s 2024 Juno Awards, for his mixing work with Grammy nominated Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Cory Asbury. Cory embraces the narrative-driven style found in Nashville’s country songwriting, produced by 2-Time Grammy Winning Music Maker Paul Mabury. The Juno Awards are Canada’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards, as the only peer-recognized music awards, and are the music industry’s highest honour. This marks George’s ninth (9th) time being nominated in the “Recording Engineer of the Year” category specifically. George won previously in 2012.

“I don’t ever take these moments for granted, and this is a particularly special one for me as, along with being nominated in a craft category that celebrates the engineering and mixing role specifically, and is voted amongst my peers and colleagues, I’m also included with such an amazing group of Nominees whose work I admire”, says George.

Congratulations to all of Canada’s 2024 Juno Awards Nominees.

The 53rd Annual JUNO Awards will broadcast live on CBC from Scotiabank Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
